2010
Festival Inception
The Surrey Hills International Music Festival was founded by Wu Qian and Tessa Marchington, marking the beginning of a new cultural tradition in the region.
2012
Expansion of Events
The festival expanded to include a series of talks and young artist performances, enriching the cultural offerings and engaging a wider audience.
2015
Introduction of the Friends Organisation
The establishment of the Festival Friends organisation strengthened community support and facilitated the growth of our educational outreach programs.

A Decade of Music
